UmanoGraphics Studio respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a visitor or collector.

1. Who We Are

UmanoGraphics Studio is the creative practice of Nnanna Okorie Uma, Abuja, Nigeria. Contact: [email protected].

2. Information We Collect

We collect information only when you voluntarily provide it:

• Contact form: Name, email address, and message when you submit an enquiry.
• Chat assistant: Name, email address, and WhatsApp number entered before starting a conversation. Chat transcripts are sent to the studio for follow-up.
• Analytics: We use Vercel Web Analytics, which collects anonymised, aggregated traffic data (page views, country, device type). No cookies are used and no personal identifiers are stored.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To respond to your enquiry about artworks, commissions, or exhibitions.
• To follow up on sales conversations initiated via the chat assistant.
• To understand how visitors use the website in aggregate (analytics only).

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any automated decision-making. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

• Vercel — hosts the website, provides anonymised analytics, and stores lead and CRM data in Vercel KV (Redis). Vercel's privacy policy applies.
• Anthropic Claude API — powers the chat assistant (Àdà). Your messages are processed by Anthropic to generate responses. Anthropic's privacy policy governs API data handling. Your conversations are not used to train AI models.
• Zoho Mail — used to send transactional emails from the studio (welcome emails, follow-ups, session summaries).
• Supabase — stores testimonial data displayed on the site. No personal visitor data is sent to Supabase.
• Google Fonts — fonts are loaded from Google's CDN. Google may log your IP address in accordance with their privacy policy.

5. Data Retention

Enquiry emails and chat transcripts are retained in the studio's inbox for as long as is necessary to service your request or maintain a collector relationship. You may request deletion at any time by emailing the studio.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent for any communications at any time.

7. Browser Storage

This website does not use tracking cookies or advertising pixels. The following browser storage mechanisms are used solely to improve your experience:

• localStorage — used by the chat assistant to remember your name and the conversation context within the same browser, so you are greeted by name on return visits. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to any server unless you initiate a new conversation.
• sessionStorage — used to prevent duplicate form submissions within a single browser session. Cleared when you close the tab.

You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings.

8. Security

The website is served over HTTPS. We take reasonable technical measures to protect information in transit. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
